Hi, I’m Mallory, your friendly neighborhood painter based in Brussels.

I started painting as a kid, parked in front of the TV with a bowl of cereal, faithfully following Bob Ross on “The Joy of Painting.” While other children were watching cartoons, I was whispering “happy little trees” at the screen and trying not to mix my clouds into accidental mud.

Fast forward to 2023. I made a New Year’s resolution to “make more time for hobbies,” which sounded very reasonable and not at all life altering. I began with tiny 12 x 18 cm still life studies in the morning before work. Just 30 minutes, coffee on one side, paintbrush on the other, trying to capture whatever was on the kitchen table before logging into yet another meeting.

Then things escalated.

The little morning studies turned into bigger canvases, bolder colors, and increasingly less interest in corporate life. At some point it became very clear that my heart was in the studio, not in slide decks. So I did the only logical thing: I quit my corporate job and decided to pursue art full time. Now my calendar is filled with paint, not PowerPoints.

My work is colorful, playful, and a little bit chaotic, in the best possible way. I love turning everyday objects, memories, and wild ideas into swirly, joyful paintings that feel like a deep breath out.

If you would like to commission a painting, talk about an idea, or buy one of the pieces you see here, I would love to hear from you. Tell me what you have in mind, and we will create something unforgettable together.
